Libellés :
Google has announced the release in France of two innovations available on Android smartphones: software localization Google Maps Navigation and Voice Search in French.
Hitherto available in English only, voice search eliminates manual data entry. The application, available for smartphones with Android 2.1 automatically converts voice into text. Dictating "restaurant nearby," you get to the screen a list of restaurants. It is also possible to perform the voice unit conversions (currency, volumes, distances, etc..) Or find news on a particular subject.

This feature is also integrated with Google Maps Navigation now available as a free beta. This software uses the smartphone's Internet connection to access the maps from Google Maps or road traffic conditions in real time.
